Antevo Research LLC (“Antevo Research,” “we,” or “us”) operates this website and publishes the Antevo Research newsletters. This policy covers personal information we handle through the site, our sign-up forms, and our free and paid subscriptions.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact and account details — your email address when you subscribe, and any name or account credentials you provide.
- Billing information — if you buy a paid subscription, payment is handled by our payment processor (Stripe). We receive limited details such as a confirmation and the last four digits of your card; we do not store full card numbers.
- Anything else you send us — for example, the contents of support emails or messages.
Information collected automatically
- Usage and device data — basic log information such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and referring links.
- Email engagement — whether our emails are opened and which links are clicked, so we can measure and improve what we send.
- Cookies and similar technologies — used for essential site functions, sign-in, referral attribution, and aggregate analytics (see Section 4).
2. How we use your information
- deliver the free and paid newsletters and operate your account;
- process payments, subscriptions, and renewals;
- send you service and transactional messages, and — where permitted — product news and marketing you can opt out of at any time;
- provide customer support and respond to your requests;
- measure engagement and improve our content, site, and offers;
- maintain security, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our terms; and
- comply with legal obligations.
3. Legal bases (EEA/UK users)
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on: performance of a contract (to provide subscriptions you request); consent (for marketing messages and non-essential cookies, which you may withdraw at any time); legitimate interests (to secure, measure, and improve the Service in ways that do not override your rights); and legal obligation (where the law requires).
4. Cookies and analytics
We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies for essential functions (such as keeping you signed in), for crediting referrals from our partners, and for aggregate, privacy-respecting analytics that help us understand how the site is used. You can control or block cookies through your browser settings, and where required we will ask for your consent to non-essential cookies. Our emails may include standard open- and click-tracking, which you can limit by disabling remote images in your mail client or by unsubscribing.
5. How we share information
We share personal information only as needed to run the Service, and with providers bound to protect it:
- Service providers / processors — for example, Stripe (payment processing), beehiiv (email delivery and subscription management), our website host, and analytics tools that act on our behalf.
- Legal and safety — when we believe disclosure is required by law, or is necessary to protect the rights, safety, or property of Antevo Research, our users, or others.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
6. International transfers
We and our providers are based in, or process data in, the United States. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., you understand your information may be transferred to and processed in the U.S. and other countries, and we take steps to protect it as described here and as required by applicable law.
7. Data retention
We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy — for example, while you have an active subscription, and afterward as needed to meet legal, accounting, or recordkeeping obligations — then delete or de-identify it.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your rights and choices
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in any message. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to access, correct, update, or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent.
EEA/UK residents have the rights described in the GDPR/UK GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, to delete, and to correct personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them; because we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, no opt-out of “sale” or “sharing” is required. To exercise any right, email support@antevoresearch.com; we will verify and respond as the law requires.
10. Children
The Service is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Third-party links
The Service may link to third-party sites and services we do not control. Their privacy practices are their own; please review their policies.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated policy here and revise the effective date above. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
